Gourmet Burgers & Wine weekend 21st and 22nd March 2020 - Saturday 09:30 - 13:00 & Sunday 10:00 - 13:00

The burger menu is available from 09:30 – 13:00 on Saturday and from 10:00 – 12:30 on Sunday. We made a changes to the menu for this weekend and we have Gourmet Brunch Burgers available. 

The menu includes delectable starters and our popular favourite toppings. Since summer is in full swing we’ll have light summer desserts to round off the meal. Some dishes include our  Harvest platter and Miso Salmon Cakes for starters and a selection of burgers with different toppings including our new Mediterranean topping, the Italian topping and the ever popular Bacon/Camembert & Onion Relish and desserts….

A kiddies menu is also available.

After careful consideration, Mellasat Vineyard’s policy regarding the COVID-19 virus is as follows:

  • Mellasat Vineyards is creating a safe environment for our employees and the general public

  • The workplace and surfaces are clean & hygienic

  • Surfaces (counter and tables) and objects (telephones, keyboards) are wiped with disinfectant regularly

  • We promote regular and thorough handwashing by employees, contractors and customers

  • We have sanitizing hand rub dispensers in prominent places

  • We display posters promoting handwashing

  • Employees and visitors will have access to water and soap

  • Employees and visitors are briefed that if COVID-19 starts spreading in the community anyone with even a mild cough or low-grade fever (37.3 C or more) needs to stay at home.

  • Keep communicating and promoting the message that people need to stay at home even if they have just mild symptoms of COVID-19.

  • Public hotline number is clearly displayed 0800 029 999

The tasting room is open for business (please see our open hours on the "contact" page) although this is subject to Government restrictions as and when they arise, so the arrangements may change at short notice. Please do the following:

  • Say hello without touching

  • Encourage regular handwashing or use of an alcohol rub or hand sanitizer.

  • Encourage employees and customers to cover their face with the bend of their elbow or a tissue if they cough or sneeze. Supply tissues/paper towel and closed bins to dispose of them in.

  • Arrange seats so that visitors are at least two metres apart from other groups.

  • Should visitors show symptoms of the virus, our employees are bound to report this incident to the authorities and will asked the affected person to remove themselves from the other people on the premises.

We also encourage everyone to do their own research into how to reduce the spread of this virus and ensure that they communicate and seek immediate treatment should they start to feel or show any symptoms.
