Due to popular demand our Tempranillo and Tapas is now a permanent feature!
If you haven’t tasted Tempranillo before, or if you want to learn more about his red variety, book for our Tempranillo and Tapas experience.
The Tempranillo and Tapas experience consists of a tapas platter and a glass of our 2016 Tempranillo. The tapas platter includes marinated olives, chorizo, marinated peppers, meatball with a Spanish tomato relish, Manchego cheese and Cajun spice cheese. All for R105.00 per person
Tempranillo and Tapas is available 10:00 – 16:00 Monday to Saturday and 10:30 – 14:30 on Sundays and public holidays.

Gourmet Prego Burgers and Wine
Join Mellasat Vineyards the weekend of the 18th and 19th May 2019 for Gourmet Burgers and Wine.
The Gourmet Burgers are available from 11:00 - 16:00 on Saturday and from 11:00 - 14:30 Sunday. Two Gourmet Burgers and a bottle of our Dekker's Valley Range for only R229.00
We have a small selection of burgers with different toppings. Choose a burger and the topping that tickles your fancy. We have beef steak patty, chicken fillet or vegetarian burgers! All Burgers are served with Potato wedges and a side salad.
For the sweet tooth we have a selection of home-made desserts.

We are celebrating Chardonnay #ChardoMay Day by making a weekend of it! We are passionate about Chardonnay and we would like to share four vertical vintages with you on the 25th and 26th May.
If you are a Chardonnay fan join us as we go on tour of the senses with a tasting of our 2012, 2014, 2017 and 2019 vintages paired with delicious canapés!
We make our Chardonnay in a French style – if you are interested in finding out more, visit us on that weekend at Mellasat Vineyards. We will be presenting the tasting in our Cemetery of Forgotten Wines from 11:00 until 15:00 on Saturday 25th May and on Sunday 26th May from 11:00 until 14:00.
The cost for the tasting and pairing is R120 per person.
We have a lunch menu available from 12:00 – 14:30 on both days.
