Mellasat Vineyards is back at The Wine Show in Johannesburg. Visit us at The Sandton Convention Centre from Thursday 12th to Saturday 14th May 2016.
We have many Wine Club members and existing customers living in Gauteng, and this is your opportunity to visit us on your doorstep. Come and visit us to taste not only our unique White Pinotage but also our range of award winning wines, including our premium red Tempranillo.

Chardonnay Day – 21 and 22 May 2016
We are celebrating Chardonnay Day by making a weekend of it! We are passionate about Chardonnay and we would like to share three vertical vintages with you on the 21st and 22nd May 2016.
If you are a Chardonnay fan join us for a vertical tasting of our 2011, 2012 and 2013 vintages. Apart from tasting them we are also pairing each wine with a finger-food snack, designed by our chef, Janet Richardson.
We make our Chardonnay in the French style – if you are interested in finding out more, visit us the weekend of the 21st and 22nd May 2016 at Mellasat Vineyards. We are presenting the vertical tastings and food pairing on the hour every hour starting from 11:00 on Saturday 21st May until 15:00 and Sunday 22nd May from 11:00 until 14:00. 2011 – Butternut Ravioli with hazelnut & Sage butter
2012 - Mushroom, thyme & goats cheese tartlet
2013 – Smoked chicken & Bacon en croute with garlic Aioli

Our popular Pop-Up Restaurant is back - on the 28th and 29th May 2016!
Due to various other events earlier this year, we are now preparing for the first Pop-Up Restaurant this year, and its theme will be Autumn.
After completing nine very successful seasonal restaurants we promise to make this another fine dining experience to remember. Freshly prepared by international chef Janet Richardson, the “Autumn” season will use local and seasonal ingredients specifically sourced for our innovative menu.
Opening times for the Restaurant will be Saturday 28th May dinner from 18:00 till 21:30, and Sunday 29th May lunch from 12:00 till 15:00. Priced at R240 for two courses or R315 for three courses, the menu will have a choice of three dishes at each course, including a complimentary “amuse bouche” and “palate cleanser” at the appropriate stage.
Our excellent range of wines will be available at normal cellar door prices! Book now, to avoid disappointment. There are limited seats for Sunday lunch still available.
