Our popular Gourmet Burgers and Wine Weekend is back on the 19th & 20th of January 2019.
We have a small selection of burgers on our menu and the price is R219 for two burgers and a bottle of our Dekker's Valley Range (Seraphic 2017, Shiraz Rose 2017 or our popular Shiraz 2015)
The burgers are available from 11h00 - 15h00 on Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th January 2019.
Booking is essential. No more than 8 people per booking.

Vineyard and cellar news
It is an exciting time of the year for any winery, especially in the vineyard! Veraison is slowly starting and is very visible on the Pinotage and Tempranillo grapes. What is veraison? It is a French term – véraison - and the official definition is ‘change of colour of the grape berries’. It is now a term that is generally adapted in English.
This year the vines are vigorous and shoot thinning took place in December. This practice is done to prevent vegetative growth and it is important to do as we want all the nutrients to go into the bunches, not into the leaves.
During December, we were busy in the barrel cellar. We racked our 2018 red wines off the full lees from barrel to barrel and now the maturation period started. Even though 2018 was a challenging vintage due to the drought conditions, the red wines taste great. There is a lot of depth and complexity on all of them.
We’ve now bottled the 2018 Seraphic, 2018 Shiraz Rosè and the 2017 Revelation. During January we are bottling the 2018 White Pinotage, 2018 Chardonnay, Viognier 2018 and the 2016 Shiraz. Watch this space!
Tempranillo and Tapas
Due to popular demand our Tempranillo and Tapas is now a permanent feature!
If you haven’t tasted Tempranillo before, or if you want to learn more about his red variety, book for our Tempranillo and Tapas experience.
The Tempranillo and Tapas experience consists of a tapas platter and a glass of our 2016 Tempranillo. The tapas platter includes marinated olives, chorizo, marinated peppers, meatball with a Spanish tomato relish, Manchego cheese and Cajun spice cheese. All for R105.00 per person
Tempranillo and Tapas is available 10:00 – 16:00 Monday to Saturday and 10:30 – 14:30 on Sundays and public holidays.
